RECYCLING THE ACTOR'S GENDER
ABOUT THE COURSE>>
The objective of the course is to define and analyze the process of actor´s body and gender recycling in the theatre. In this process, actor/actress, through the application of the Recycled Theatre method, sheds his body and, above all, his sexual identity. The final product is the "performer", that is a de-genderized entity capable of performe any theatrical character regardless of their gender and sex.

TARGET GROUP>>
Any person, with or without training and/or theatre experience.

PROGRAMME>>
1º PHASE.
Introduction to different acting methods, and text discovery.
2º PHASE.
Presence of the actor, stage relations, actor's tools, senses and emotions, actions and reactions, body and voice, interior and exterior rhythm and improvisation.
3º PHASE.
Actor recycling through the ancient Persian acting technique Naghsh-Poosh.

FINAL PERFORMANCE>>
At the end of the course, the students will performe in the final performance.
